What is DEBT RANKING?
A DEBT score is an evidence of a participant’s strength in debating. Speakers gain or lose points based on the debate result and the opponents ranking. Participants earn some points for merely participating in a debate tournament qualified for DEBT ranking. Each participant is assigned a unique DEBT ID on their first Debate Tournament. Debaters will be able to see their ranking at www.bayareadebateclub.com. The ranking is important because it determines pairings.
